SOS Tip of the Week

Spring Cleaning

We would like to continue with our Spring Cleaning theme giving you natural and healthy products to clean and maintain your home. First of all, in order to have a clean home you must first sort and de-clutter the things you don't use or need. Cluttered homes are impossible to clean or maintain.

Spot Free Dishes

Use this simple formula to keep your dishes spot free. Combine the following ingredients in a container with a lid:

  • 1 cup Borax
  • ½ cup baking soda

Add 1 tsp of the mixture to your dishwasher along with your regular dishwasher. Your dishes will be sparklingly clean and your dishwasher will smell great.

End Drain Pain

Use this nontoxic drain opener once a month and you may never buy another Drano. Pour 1 cup of table salt and one cup of baking soda down the drain (buy bulk baking soda and salt) it's cheaper than packaged ones. Follow with several cups of boiling water. If you have a grease problem it should be gone immediately. For the very best results, don't use your drain for at least couple of hours. If you need a stronger remedy to solve the problem of your congested drain, use 2 tbls of washing soda (available where laundry products are sold) dissolved in 4 cups of very hot water, pour it slowly down the drain. Wait 10 minutes than flush with hot water.

We're looking to hire Independent Contractors as
Residential Cleaners.

Are you organized?  Do you like helping people? We are looking for residential cleaners.  As an Independent Contractor you will enjoy flexible hours while embarking on an exciting career.  You will be working in a team environment with lots of support.  The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and be willing to go that "extra mile" for clients as well as be able to greet every situation, no matter how challenging, with compassion and energy.

While past experience is an asset, it is not a requirement as we will provide training.  Independent Contractors are responsible for submitting invoices and are not on payroll, and get to set their own hours within certain parameters.
