| New Year's Resolutions, Do They Work?
At the beginning of every New Year we are all eager to set goals to change our lives for the better. These goals might include a career change, losing weight, getting organized, pay off debt, find a suitable partner; the list is a mile long. But without a specific written plan, and commitment to the project, these goals are merely wishful thinking. If you set a specific goal for yourself you have a much greater chance of success than with a general goal.
Example: "One day I would like to organize my whole house." This kind of statement is a sure recipe for failure. There is no plan or commitment to get your house organized.
On the other hand if you commit 15 minutes every day to organize your bathroom, you will have a better chance of succeeding.
To stay on track and successfully achieve your goal you need to measure your progress, so set a deadline for each of your small goals. Don't forget to celebrate even the smallest achievement.
When we set the goal to make positive changes in our lives, we also need support from our families, friends or professionals. |

"Clear Your Home, Clear Your Mind" - published in recent issue of SHARED VISION

It has been said that the majority of us lose at least one hour a day looking for the things we need and spend 20% of our annual budget buying things we need to replace things we lost!
