The Solutions Organizing Simple
eNewsletter

Summer is here and it's time to relax and enjoy the fruits of our labour.  By following our simple yet effective steps you are well on your way to living organized and guilt free.  For those of you just joining the S.O.S. team, Welcome, and know that it is never too late to become organized.

For those of you already organized summertime requires very little work to maintain that organization.  Plan to spend 15 minutes twice a day in one area of your house.  Set the timer and for 15 minutes do not allow yourself to be distracted from the chosen area, be it the kitchen hotspot, the living room, the foyer, your bedroom, whatever area you choose to tackle, focus solely on it for 15 minutes.  You will be amazed what you can do in 15 minutes.

For those of you just joining us, go to our newsletter section to get caught up.

We are attending more trade-shows this year and are planning an open house - we thank all of you for your support and plan to take our own advice.  We are taking a 2 month hiatus from the newsletter but our website is chock-full of ideas and suggestions to keep you organized through the summer months.

Remember to get outside and enjoy the sun while it's here - all too soon it will be time for school to start again.

Have a Splendid Summer!

CONGRATULATIONS!!

S.O.S. Tips

If you are a visual type person, hang clear shoe organizers on the inside of doors or closet doors etc.  Put anything in the pockets that you normally put in drawers (library books to return, small toys, elastics, sunscreen etc).  Now you can see everything at a glance and you’ve made good use of a little used spot.

Cleaning Tip

Clean your upholstery by sprinkling it liberally with baking soda and letting it set for a few minutes before vacuuming. Smoke and pet odours will disappear.

Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.~Henry David Thoreau

The cute and charming boy on every S.O.S. product is the youngest member of our family, my Great-Grandson, Luka Joseph Burzan, he's one year old.

Editor's Note

In the last newsletter we mistakenly called Dad an extortionist - while he may have to resort to that to get someone else to mow the lawn, he shouldn't need to be a contortionist to get at the lawnmower!  And we recommend cleaning your windows, not your widows.  Thank you to all of you sharp-eyed readers who caught our mistake.

S.O.S. is hiring!

We're looking to hire Independent Contractors as
Residential Cleaners.

Are you organized?  Do you like helping people? We are looking for residential cleaners.  As an Independent Contractor you will enjoy flexible hours while embarking on an exciting career.  You will be working in a team environment with lots of support.  The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and be willing to go that "extra mile" for clients as well as be able to greet every situation, no matter how challenging, with compassion and energy.

While past experience is an asset, it is not a requirement as we will provide training.  Independent Contractors are responsible for submitting invoices and are not on payroll, and get to set their own hours within certain parameters.

If this sounds like the ideal career for you, please contact Ranka Burzan at 604.538.3240 for more information or email us your resume.
