Father's Day is a couple of weeks away and I bet that your Dad could use some organizing in his garage. We have published many articles on garage organizing. Since that time my family and I have organized hundreds of garages in the Lower Mainland. You have to admit this is one of the most neglected rooms in your house and a very important space, especially if you are selling your house.

Garage Organizing Tips

1. The easiest way to organize your garage is to take everything out and spread it on your driveway. Remove the cobwebs from the ceiling and walls. Clean your windows, floor and shelves with S.O.S. cleaning products. Sort and categorize the things you want to keep. Keep only the things you need and use. 2. Keep track of your electrical tape, masking tape and duct tape by installing a paper towel holder on the wall and then slide the roll of tape on the dowel. Have your scissors or saw blade handy by hanging them on a hook beside the paper towel holder.
   
   
3. Get everything off the floor by installing large hooks on the walls to hang all your garden tools, ladder, wheelbarrow, and sports equipment.  Hooks of all shapes and sizes are available at Home Depot or Canadian Tire.
