Keeping your home organized and clutter free is easier if you have a routine. Making your bed every day at 7:00 am will take about 3 minutes but you will feel better about yourself and more relaxed through the day.

• Use Your Calendar
Write down on your big wall calendar the important dates for you and your family. There is nothing more embarrassing then missing your child's school performance or misplacing his field trip notice. Have one calendar for your professional and personal life.

• Plan Your Weekly Menu
Ask your family to help you chop vegetables, measure pasta or rice for your next meal. You will have your kids involved in helping you and at the same time you are spending quality time with them. Everybody wins and it's going to be an experience that everybody will remember fondly.

• Permanent Home
Give everything you own right down to a paper clip a permanent home. If you need your keys, wallet or cell phone it should not take you longer than 30 seconds to find it. Longer than that is a waste of your time and energy.

• Celebrate Your Success
Reward yourself even if you organize one drawer in your home or office. Take pictures before & after and brag about it. Invite family and friends over for a meal or drinks. Set goals to get control over your home and life. You will feel better about yourself if help somebody else to improve quality of their life.
